So the trip to Tampere ended. I’m really, really glad that I overcame my laziness and decided to go. It was all I needed for a vacation. I was relaxed, I ate good food throughout the day, I had good sleep, I went out often, and I was happy. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I wasn’t comfortable with Nguyen – Duong’s flatmate – at first (must be because I wasn’t ready to meet new people and take in new characteristics :-?), but then I realized she was actually quite a bright and straightforward girl. The other Duong’s flatmate who I didn’t have chance to meet provided me her comfy bed (with circle patterns on red pillow and blanket cover!) while I was there and she was traveling somewhere. I think it is the best gift she could give me – a person who she doesn’t know and most likely won’t meet – considering how much I love sleeping. Ngoc, whom I met shortly twice, seemed to be a nice girl, too. And all the things with the cooking: cheesecake, chè, sương sáo, sương sâm, nặn trân châu, làm giá đỗ. It was truly a wonderful start for a new year.
Now that I’m already recharged, it is time to move on. Dear Finnish, I will try hard to be friends with you. Please like me a bit better. : p
